Ok...so I tag along with L. sometimes for work since I have no purpose in life at the moment. I love going with him because we get to talk and see different things together and just enjoy our time together. It's also on these days that I often get quite a few good chuckles and sometimes a funny story. With that in mind, kick back, relax, and enjoy a chuckle on L.B. :-)
It's a beautiful sunhiney day. We're driving down the road to a call at a Speedway. He is about to make a left hand turn in to the driveway.
Me: Babe. Babe. Babe. Watch out for the BIG curb.
Bam Bam Bam (we hit the curb full on and shake around like a babydoll in the hands of a running three year old).
L.B.: I saw it.
Me: (looking at him with a puzzled expression and raised eyebrow) Then why did you hit it?
L.B.: (looking at me like I've simply lost my mind) Because the sun was shining in my eyes, and I couldn't see. (his tone matched the look on his face...like just try to understand me you simple woman)
Me: Um................Ok (didn't he just say that he saw the curb?)
Welcome to a day in the life! LOL....I absolutely love this boy. He's so stinkin cute. He didn't want me to share this story, and when I asked why he said "cause it's too funny"....meaning for once you might giggle at him and not at something stupid I've done or said. Turn about is fair play!!
Not much else is going on right now. I'm spending ooodles of his hard earned money on stamps and envelopes looking for a job; We're dealing with a retarded dog who enjoys eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches off the counter while I'm in the shower; We have a cute loveable cat that takes after me and minds her own business in the house and bats at whomever interrupts her quiet time; and that's about all. Not much else. What's new with you?
Oh yeah...and to answer the questions about books. I got a few books at the library...all different authors. I just started the Sue Grafton series with "A is for Alibi"....I'll let you know how it goes. I'm looking for new authors though because I've read all of my favorites (except for a Mary Higgins Clark one that hasn't been in the library the last few months). Any suggestions?
Love you guys!!!

Okay, so I love the story! It sounds like dad doesn't it? Honey, Honey, Honey....truck!!!! I saw it. Remember that day? hahahaha
Just a small suggestion. Don't use that color again. Geez, I thought I was going blind for a minute. Love you guys!
L is such a man and yet still our L Boy. I saw the curb, but I hit the curb because I didn't see it, that is rich! Ok L, now we'vve got one on you...you're fitting into the family so well and we're proud of you. I have a good one for you that SM likes to repeat to both K and me....when the red brake lights of the car ahead of you come on that's a signal for you to slow down - not continue at your same speed or speed up. I love the girl but where did she come up with that crazy concept? Who taught her how to drive anyway? Love you!
